Wieder & Co – Company Policy
1. Scope of Work & Additional Charges
Any feature, function, or detail not explicitly discussed & documented, or listed in the approved requirements sheet will be considered out of scope and will incur an additional charge.
All additional work will require written approval before development begins.
2. Extra Features & Outstanding Balances
Wieder & Co will not provide any extra features, enhancements, or add-ons to clients who have an outstanding balance exceeding $9,000.
Work will only resume once the balance is reduced below this threshold.
3. Payment for Extra Features
Extra features must be paid immediately upon completion.
They cannot be bundled, delayed, or held until the final project payment.
Regular project payments may be made partially or upon full project completion, but extra feature payments are always due immediately.
4. Support, Tweaks & Bug Fixes
Support requests, bug fixes, adjustments, and minor tweaks will not be provided to any client with a balance over $9,000 or an open invoice of more than 14 days.
Service resumes only once the outstanding balance is cleared below the limit. But fixes can take up to 48 hours to be delivered. And new feature up to 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the feature and the amount of other things in queue. After 2 months, any bug not notices within this 2 month period, should be fixed for free. Same goes with details not explicitly written in specification document.
5. Code Ownership
Wieder & Co is in ownership of any code they write. And the intellectual property always belongs to them. Intellectual property writes can be “bought” from Wieder & Co for an additional 100% of the project’s cost. So if a project’s cost was $100,000, then buying the ownership will cost an additional $100,000.
The other option is “Code Release”. This option will release all code the to client, with a perpetual license to use to code in perpetuity while Wieder & Co remains the owner of the copyright. This cost is %50 of the projects total costs.
